Ian McArthur
Ian is owner of the studio and works extensively with blues, jazz, world and afro beat, and roots music genres. Ian also designed the room to create acoustic balance and complete separation so he uniquely understands all aspects of the studio and knows how to get the best out of it. Aside from his work as a producer and engineer, Ian also sits in on projects as a session guitarist. In the past, he has produced or engineered for Carla Anderson, Leona Burkey, Perian Spring, The Dick Reed Band, Bloodpipe, and others. Ian's recent projects for 2006 include co-production on Carson Cole's new album Kickstart to be released in 2007, Producer and Engineer of Siouxsen, Engineer on Marco Caveria, Engineer on Sixgun, Engineer on King Ring Nancy, Engineer on Dead Bunny Records Compilation, Engineer on Hey Pretty, Engineer on a Marble Engine single, Engineer and Co-Producer on Soul Beat Revival.
Carson Cole
Carson Cole has toured Canada extensively and sold tens of thousands of records. Carson has worked with bands like Wide Mouth Mason, Danni Tibbo, Mcquaig, The Frank, and many others. In Production, Carson has worked with Bryan Adams, Kevin Churko (Shania Twain, Mutt Lange), Bruce Fairburn, Bob Clearmountain, Colin James, KD Lang, and Larry Wannagis. Carson’s approach to producing and engineering has helped launch a number of artist’s careers. He is our most talented song writer and a prolific producer and engineer.
