Designed by Ian McArthur, recording engineer, and David Murray, architect, this purpose built facility was constructed from the ground up with the best materials and acoustic principles. Mac Alley Studios has partnered with Mammoth Productions, a full service video production company located in the same building. The studio and video suite are networked together. One of the most common questions we hear is: “Why don’t my recordings sound like what I hear on the radio or on store bought CDs?” Well, it’s probably that mysterious black art called “Mastering”. Mac Alley Studios’ control room was specially designed as an acoustically correct mastering room. With this room and our special mastering equipment we can make most projects sound better.
